Novelle Bridal Shop's New Website Design

Designing our new website has been a year in the making, and we couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out. Novelle Bridal Shop started in a smaller space in High Street. As the number of brides walking through our door grew, we knew it was time to expand. We have now been in our beautiful new location in the heart of 124 street for two years.  It soon became obvious that our new store would be the inspiration behind the look of our new website. We wanted a website that reflects our shop so that we can share the Novelle experience online with all of our lovely brides.

As we progressed with this project, our list of goals for the website grew longer and longer as we considered everything we wanted our brides to experience!

We wanted to:

• Showcase all of the dresses we have in-store at Novelle. This is perfect for our brides and bridesmaids who are looking for a particular style, or just enjoy a good late night drowsy browse!
• Feature our beautiful Novelle brides for all future brides to see!
• Give our brides the opportunity to book their appointment online at their own convenience.
• Introduce the Novelle girls who help make our brides' dreams come true.
• Feature a video that captures the dreaminess of the Novelle experience. Thanks to A Love Story Cinema for coming to our store and filming! We had lots of fun.
• Highlight our latest news, trends, and designers through our instagram and blog posts.

Our Style: We wanted our website to look clean, be easy-to-read, and show off our girly side! We used a colour palette featuring pure white, charcoal, smoke, and soft pink as a reflection of the colours you’ll find in the Novelle store. No detail went unnoticed! We consciously added each stripe, swirl and splashes of watercolour.

We have many more fabulous ideas in progress, so stayed tuned for new updates!
